From the very beginning of the process I was so impressed with your professionalism, craftsmanship and listening to what I needed for my daily work and kitchen. Your help at all stages during the design process is very much appreciated and Trish & Donna have a huge input in helping with making important decisions.

Your patience when I change my mind on the final colour and Martin & Trish allowing Eugene and I visit on a Sunday was beyond the call of duty but makes your company the most outstanding in Meath, Monaghan, Cavan and I know many others. The highest accolade I heard was for Jarlath (architect) and Sean (builder) could not recommend anyone else to their clients having seen Michael here initially and then Martin and his team working as the fitted the kitchen and of course the finished product.

Dear Michael, Martin, Patricia, Gavin and staff,

Where do we start. First of all we must apologise for the delay in writing this email but we wanted it to be a good one.

From the first day we stepped into Mooney’s showrooms and met Michael there was no doubt in our minds that he was the man to make our kitchen. He was full of enthusiasm and had wonderful ideas.

Upon seeing the showroom and then the workshop we were so impressed with the standard of the kitchens, unlike any we had seen elsewhere. The smell of solid wood was thick in the air.

Michael was so efficient in providing us with our quotation. We knew we would have to pay a bit extra for a Mooney kitchen but with that level of expertise and craftsmanship we knew it would be worth it, and we were not wrong.

Every little detail is carefully thought out, even down to the wording we wanted on the larder drawers. Michael was so patient, we changed our mind on several occasions but it was never a problem.

Whenever we had to ring with a query, Patricia was always at the other end of the phone ready to help us with everything, an absolute lady.

When Martin and Gavin arrived to our house to fit our kitchen it was like military precision, they even brought their own kettle and kitchen roll, need we say more. It was fascinating to watch, everything just seemed to slot into place, Michael had said this was how it would work, but it would have to be seen to be believed.

The finished kitchen has far exceeded our expectations and we adore it. The whole process was seamless. If only everyone was as efficient and hardworking as the Mooneys, getting work done to one’s house would be far less stressful.

We would not hesitate to highly recommend the Mooneys, in fact I am handing out their business card to anyone who mentions a kitchen that comes into the house.

Q. Where did you hear about us?
A. Ideal Home Expo RDS 2015/2016

Q. What was your first impression of our showroom and service you got there?
A. Loved the showrooms from start to finish. The kitchens on display seemed to get better as we went through them.

Q. What are the major reasons you bought from us and not from our competitors?
A. What really stood out for us was that Michael could answer all of our questions on the spot and didn’t have
to “consult someone in the workshop”. His depth of knowledge + experience was evident.

Q. How important was price in making your decisions?
A. It was an important factor. We did go (way) above our budget but we got exactly what we wanted + it was worth it! 

Q. How did you feel about our location?
A. From Dublin to Drumconrath is a bit of a journey but as I tell everyone, “it’s totally worth it”.

Q. Did we deliver what was sold to you in the showroom and was it professionally fitted and on time?
A. Michael & Martin went above and beyond what we expected in every way. It was totally the kitchen we picked ( but better pantry than showroom!!). It was certainly professionally fitted and on time.

Q. During the project, did you feel you got good service from everybody you had to deal with in our company?
A. We got the best possible service from everyone involved in our project. Michael always answered his phone to me, regardless of the number of calls I made during the day. I’m from Navan and I hear “no bother” a lot but I know when it comes from Michael + Martin, they really mean it!

Q. Do you think there is anything we could improve on to make our overall product and service better?
A. I honestly cannot suggest one thing! This is a first from me.

We’d like to take the opportunity to thank you for out beautiful kitchen. We are delighted with it as is our friends and family. It has been a pleasure dealing with you and your team and we look forward to designing future rooms with you.

It really was a pleasure doing business with you. Michael, you put a lot of work into the planning and design of my kitchen. There was no pushy salesmanship involved, just good honest practical advice.

As a result I have a kitchen that really works for me and my family. Martin, you really are a perfectionist. Having no kitchen and your team on site was not difficult. Everyone was friendly and helpful and worked around me and my family. I knew the result would be well worth waiting for and it is. I look forward to going into my kitchen every morning.

So much time, energy and hard work was put in by you and your dedicated staff. Mooney’s furniture really does have a magic wand when it comes to kitchens as you made my dream kitchen come true!
